Competency Based Training
Traditional training methods are often wasted on individuals because it does not factor in their level of competency or relevance of the topic being trained. Adult learning methods are very different than those of children, and often rely on critical need to know and applicability of the subject to their current work position.
Many organizations, in recognition of this fact, have adopted competency based training which coincides with the competency mapping process developed in conjunction with their tiered management hierarchy.
